Have you ever felt deflated?

That is the way I am feeling right now. Deflated.

We are in the red, again.
The lawn is D E A D.
The children are whining.
Mounds of laundry need attention.
Taxes haven't been done.
Bills need payin'
Phone needs answering.
Weight needs to be addressed.

I would like to crawl into bed.

Middle is in time out upstairs in his room. I opened the door as I assumed he was throwing stuffed animals down the stairs. Um, no. He tore the lathe and plaster from the wall and threw it down the stairs. The hole was there, only smaller.
Sigh.
I put the gate up.
I called King Daddy.
I cleaned up.
Sigh.

Oh Betsy!

Thinking of you.
I feel like that often and some days it's hard to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start again.

You are an amazing person! I hope you know that.

Wow! I would have definitely skipped the clean up if I were feeling like you today!

I agree with the other comments that recommended chocolate! Yep, chocolate and bed!

Oh my. This is eerily similar to what I talked myself out of writing today. Minus the lathe and plaster, that is. ;)

I just feel so tired - deflated is just about the exact right word. Sigh. Things will get better, but until then chocolate always seems to help. :)

I hate times like that. We have a winter that feels like it will never end and that helps keep me deflated.
