Editing my life

I have been organizing our lives over the past week. I have made a laundry schedule. KD laundry on Monday. Queen's laundry on Tuesday and all the kids on Wednesday. We have been eating dinner as a family in the evening. Etc. After much debate over KD's schedule and the change in pre-school schedule, we have hired the bus after all. We did not, however, have to pay the deposit, only the registration fee. In addition we have been severely editing things. Clothes, pieces of furniture, rugs, etc.

I had no idea that I had so many pot holders. I certainly don't need all that many pot holders. And the number of kitchen towels was even greater!

I ditched all but 4 of them. Same with my kitchen towels. I try very hard, not always successfully, to constantly edit. Our house is small because I prefer it that way and as a result we simply do not have the room for crap.

How many pot holders do you have?

We have three nasty ones. I want some new ones but never quite get around to getting them. Plus, we don;t really have any storage room in the kitchen. Where do you keep yours?

I have about three hundred, all of them chicken...
If your throwing out YOUR chicken pot holders, I'll take them.
You can NEVER have to many chicken pot holders

I swear there is nothing better than the whole family eating dinner together, it's my favorite part of the day.

I have 2 potholders and 1 set of oven mits. Not too bad but then again I end up using kitchen towles to pull things out of the oven and lift off pot lids.

3, but one is gross and I'd love to replace it...

I prefer a small house too!

I'm with the crowd on this one. I have three and one of them is absolutely gross. I guess it's time to go shopping!!

Potholders? Um, two or three, I think. Now kitchen towels are another story... I just found a whole pile in the bottom of a drawer that I'm not sure have ever actually been used... :)

Oh my gosh you so hit a nerve here! I really need to do the same thing. I got rid of a lot of extra potholders some time ago - but for me it's extra rubber spatulas! I guess I went to way too many Pampered Chef parties about 10 years ago!
