History has been made
Tonight history was made in Massachusetts. Scott Brown, Republican won the U.S. Senate seat vacated by the death of Senator Edward Kennedy. The last time a Republican was elected to the U.S. Senate was in 1972 with the re-election of Senator Edward Brooke. Massachusetts and Republican are not generally spoken in the same sentence.
