Skating

On Saturday there is a skating party put on by the Lions in our town.  It is from 12-3 there will be hot dogs and hot cocoa.  I would love to take the kids, but we don't have any gear for skating.  They have all expressed interest in the sport so I need to figure out if I can find some skates, etc. for them.

This is what I would expect, but I know that is not what will happen.  Specifically as the above is clearly somewhere that rents skates but more importantly, it is clearly a dated picture.  I think kids skate with helmets nowadays.

But what do I know, I haven't taken the kids skating ever.  But maybe this weekend we will.
